Member Update – July 19, 2025
Board Members Elected at July Membership Meeting: Congratulations to the Board members who were elected at Thursday night’s General Membership Meeting. Current Board members Kevin Anderson and James Parks were re-elected.
The newly elected Board Members are Paul Bravery, Nick Oltman, and Ryan Shipley.
Thank you to Liz Crescioli, Jamey McNamara, and Bob Neuman for their years of Board service.
Overlee members who attended the meeting heard updates on operations and activities and had the opportunity to ask questions and share their thoughts with the Board. Thanks to all who attended!
The Overlee Synchro Swim Team wrapped up another fantastic season with a dazzling Coachella-themed performance on Thursday (7/17). Despite a mid-show lightning delay, our swimmers didn’t miss a beat—showing off seven weeks of dedication, creativity, and teamwork with grace and grit. Their strength and resilience shone through both in the water and in their positive attitude throughout the evening. Huge applause to our athletes and our rockstar coaches!
Fun fact: Overlee’s synchro team is the longest-running program at the pool! Many of our swimmers go on to compete year-round in artistic swimming, participate in Junior Olympics, and even swim at the collegiate level.

2025 Overlee Crab Feast Registration Now Open – Overlee’s Version of Surf and Turf + BYOB = Great Time!
The Annual Overlee Crab Feast is back! It will be held on Saturday, July 26th from 7:00 PM – 11:00 PM.
**Please note that this event has a 200 person capacity limit. Therefore, registration will close on Monday, July 21 at 12Noon or when 200 registrations are reached (whichever occurs first).
Cost for crabs with BBQ is $75 for members/$85 for non-members; BBQ is $45 for members/$50 for non-members.
We will provide the crabs, BBQ, a couple sides, and a few desserts. Please feel free to bring an appetizer or dessert to share and of course your favorite beverages!

Note: Crab Feast is an adults-only (21 and over) event. Main Pool and Volleyball will be open for Crab Feast Attendees only. Pool closes and grounds cleared at 6:00 PM for set up. Snack Shack Park will close around 4:00 PM to allow for table and chairs set-up.

At 9 pm, main pool and social pool close, lap pool resumes lap swimming until 10 pm.
