Overlee’s July 4th Celebration and Teams Fundraiser
Join us for our annual 4th of July celebration! Pool hours for the 4th of July are 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM (lap pool open 6:00 AM – 9:00 AM). All Overlee pools and facilities will close at 5:00 PM on July 4th so staff can enjoy the holiday.
Schedule of Events:
- All Day: Volleyball Tournament
- 11:45 AM: Gather for the parade at the back gate. Bring your kids and their decorated bikes, scooters, strollers, wagons, whatever to come ride around the pool deck and show off their patriotic colors and spirit!
- 12:00 PM: PARADE! Whether you are a participant or viewer, don’t miss the fun!
- 12:20 PM: Start of Games – click here for details
- 12:45 PM: Dive Team Exhibition
From 12noon – 2:30 PM, Burger and Hotdog platters (with chips, drink, and dessert) will be for sale to raise funds for Overlee’s Dive, Swim and Synchro Teams. All grills at the pool will be unavailable from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Moon bounces will be in Snack Shack Park and staff will manage games and contests for the kids throughout the day, including the coin toss seek and find and the big splash contest!
Dive Team Fundraiser:
Be part of the Overlee Dive Team’s big fundraiser for the season — 2 lucky people will win!
Prizes are valued at over $800. 1 raffle ticket = one entry to win. Drawing will be held on July 4th.

Kids/Teen Night is Sunday, July 13th:
Kids (ages 5 and older) and Teens rule the pool at Overlee on Sunday, July 13th beginning at 6:30 PM! We’ll have a DJ, pizza, drinks, and snacks!

Each volunteer slot is an hour long; however you are welcome to sign up for multiple hourly slots if interested. Thanks for your help making this a great night for the kids!

Lap Pool will open 3 lanes laps / 3 lanes general swim at 10:00 AM
All Other Pools will open ~15 minutes after the conclusion of the meet (expected opening around 12:00 PM)
All Pools Close 9:00 PM

Synchro Practice: 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM in Lap Pool, 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM in Dive Well

Main Pool open for General Swim 10 AM – 4:45 PM (shared with Swim Team 10 AM – 11 AM and lessons 11 AM – 12:30 PM)
Lap Pool: Lap Swimming 6 AM – 11 AM, 12 N – 5 PM, 50/50 Laps / General Swim 5 PM – 9 PM
Baby & Social Pools Open 10 AM – 9 PM (Social shares with Lessons 11 AM – 12 N)
Dive Well open 12 N – 4:45 PM.
