Overlee’s Little Library has a New Name:

Reminder for Parents:
To limit pool closures due to contamination (which takes 3-6 hours to clean/disinfect), please ensure that the following rules are followed:
- Children who are not toilet-trained must be wearing clothing designed to keep diapers contained when in the water.
- Children who are not toilet-trained may not enter the main pool or the lap pool.
Kids/Teen Night is Sunday, July 14th:
Kids (ages 5 and older) and Teens rule the pool at Overlee on Sunday, July 14th beginning at 6:30pm! We’ll have a DJ, pizza, drinks, and snacks! Registration coming soon…
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED – Parent volunteers/chaperones are needed to help (at no charge). Thanks for your help making this a great night for the kids!
2024 Overlee Synchro Show:
Mark your calendars for one of the highlights of the Overlee summer, the always entertaining annual Synchro Show. Free and open to the public. The team and very special guests (OVL lifeguards & Synchro Coaches) will perform routines to Taylor Swift’s music under spotlights in the lap pool, 8:00 PM Wed., July 17th (Rain Date July 18).
Pool Hours for Friday, July 5 – Sunday, July 14:
Volleyball, Upper Decks, Foosball, Ping Pong, Cornhole, Grassy Areas, etc. are open only when the Main/Social/Baby pools are open. Volleyball is open during developmental dive meets but closed during developmental/competitive swim meets and Tuesday competitive dive meets.
Friday, July 5
All Pools: 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM (except when used by teams as described below)
Lap Pool: 6:00 AM – 11:00 AM, 12 Noon – 3:30 PM, 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM (M-F); 3:30 PM – 5:00 PM (M); 9:00 PM – 10:00 PM (Tues, Thurs) (lap swimming in main pool during dive meet)
Swim Team Practice: 7:00 AM – 10:00 AM (main pool M, T, W, F), 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM (main pool shared M, T, W, F), 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM (lap pool M, T, W, F); 3:30 PM – 5:00 PM (lap pool T, W )
Dive Team Practices: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM (M, T, W, F dive well); 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM (M, T, W, F dive well)
Synchro Practices: 8:00 AM – 9:45 AM (T-W, dive well); 7:45 PM – 8:45 PM (Wed dive well); 3:30 PM – 5:00 PM (Fri, lap pool)

Swim Meet at Home vs Chesterbrook:
Lap Pool will open 3 lanes laps / 3 lanes general swim at 10:00 AM
All Other Pools will open 15 minutes after the conclusion of the meet (estimated opening 12Noon)
All Pools Close 9:00 PM
Sunday, July 7
All Pools: 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM
Lap Pool: 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM
Synchro: 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM (dive well)

Monday, July 8 – Friday, July 12

Lap Pool: 6:00 AM – 11:00 AM, 12 Noon – 3:30 PM, 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM (M-F, except 12:45 PM – 2:00 PM Wed, reserved for swim practice); 3:30 PM – 5:00 PM (M, W); 9:00 PM – 10:00 PM (Tues, Thurs) (lap swimming in main pool during dive meet)
Swim Team Practice: 7:00 AM – 10:00 AM (main pool daily), 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM (main pool shared daily), 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM (lap pool daily); 12:45 PM – 2:00 PM (W, lap pool); 3:30 PM – 5:00 PM (lap pool T,Th)
Dive Team Practices: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM (M-F dive well); 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM (MWF dive well)
Dive Competitive Meet (Tuesday, July 9, 6:00 PM) – dive well reserved 3:45 PM until 15 mins after meet. At the 4:45 PM break, the Main pool will Close. Volleyball closed during meet. At 5:00 PM, the main pool will re-open for lap swimming and the Lap pool will re-open for general swim. General swim closes at 9 pm and lap swimming closes at 10 pm.
Dive All-Arlington Developmental Meet (Thursday, July 11, 6:00 PM) — dive well reserved 3:45 PM until 15 mins after meet. At 4:45 PM, lap pool opens for general swimming, and main pool switches to lap swimming, until end of meet.
Parent/Dive Happy Hour – Friday, July 12 (dive well, no other impact on pools)
Synchro Practices: 8:00 AM – 9:45 AM (T-W-Th, dive well); 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM (Wed, dive well); 3:30 PM – 5:00 PM (Fri, lap pool)
Adult Lessons with Kathy Koczyk (Friday, Lap Pool): 7:30 PM – 8:30PM (every Friday thru 8/30)
Saturday, July 13
All Pools: 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM
Synchro (dive well): 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM
