Member Update – June 12, 2025
Rocklands BBQ at OVL – Wednesday, June 18
Mark your calendars! The Rocklands BBQ food truck is returning to OVL to celebrate the end of the school year on June 18 from 4-7PM. It’ll be parked in the upper parking lot and families will be able to preorder up to a day in advance.
Preordering is open until Tuesday, June 17 at 12noon. Any problems with ordering should be directed to carmen@rocklands.com.
Food will also be available for purchase on the day of. This is a synchro swim team fundraiser.
Reminders from the Manager
- Family-friendly language and behavior at all times.
- Back gate entrance is only for elderly and handicapped. Strollers may enter and go directly to check in at Front Desk.
- Please clean up after yourselves (and please remind your children) – our staff’s primary responsibility is safety.
- No glass is ever allowed on lower pool area. If glass breaks anywhere on lower area, we MUST close the pool.
- Staff does not make the policies and rules, we only enforce them. If you have an issue that a manager cannot satisfy, please email president@overlee.org.
Closing Time: Members are welcome to stay and enjoy the pool and facilities until closing time but please be considerate of staff by gathering your belongings and leaving the deck as soon as possible. The bathhouses and family bathrooms close 10 minutes after closing time.
Board Seeking Nominees for New Directors: Under Overlee’s current Bylaws, the election of new members of the Board of Directors is held during the Summer Membership Meeting. This year, the meeting will be on Thursday, July 17, 2025 at 7:00pm.
We are seeking Association members who are interested in serving on the Board. Board members act as the governing body for the Association. A description of the Board’s roles and responsibilities can be found on the website in our Bylaws. If you are interested in running or finding out more information, please send an email to Board@overlee.org.
