Member Update – September 6, 2024

Members may bring their vaccinated and licensed dogs for a one-hour swim in the Main and Social pools. No additional registration is required. Please bring your dog on a leash, along with tags/papers certifying vaccinations and license and supplies to clean up accidents. (Sorry, guest dogs are not permitted.) Dogs that behave aggressively, and their owners, will be asked to leave the pool area.
All pools close at 5:00 pm, including the Lap Pool!

During the Doggy Swim:

• Members watching the Doggy Swim should go to the Terraces & Snack Shack Park.
• Members with dogs should bring leashed dogs to gate nearest the Volleyball Court.
• Members with dogs should remain on the grass until the swim begins.
• Only ONE family member should be on pool deck handling the dog; all others should be on the terraces or Snack Shack Park to view the fun.

Once the pools open to the dogs:

• No people are allowed in the water.
• Gates will be placed to keep the dogs on the Main/Social Pool side of the bathhouse.
• Perimeter gates will be closed to keep the dogs from escaping to the parking lot.
• The pool circulation systems will be shut down.

At the end of Doggy Swim at 6:00 pm:  Members with dogs should exit through the gate at Volleyball Park.

End of Season Membership Reminders:
Membership Renewal Notices: Notices will be emailed to all members in early to mid-February following approval of the annual budget at the General Membership meeting. Payments for renewal of active memberships will be due March 1, 2025.
Email Addresses: It is very important to keep the email addresses in your membership profile up to date. All Overlee communication with members is done via email. In the offseason, please update your address in your account profile to ensure that you receive your membership renewal notification and other member announcements.

2024 Extended Season Lap Pool Hours for Monday, September 9 – Sunday, October 13:  Only members who have purchased an Extended Season Pass are allowed to swim during Extended Season. Extended Season passes can still be purchased for $165 (Fall season is not pro-rated and you must be age 13 or older). Contact members@overlee.org to purchase.
The last day of Extended Season is Sunday, October 13, 2024. 

• Please clear the pool, deck, and bath houses 5 minutes after closing. 
• Extended Season pass holders may NOT bring guests.

Mondays and Fridays:
Lap Pool open 6 am – 9 am

Tuesdays, Wednesday, and Thursdays:
Lap Pool open 6 am – 9 am and 5 pm – 8 pm

Saturdays and Sundays:
Lap Pool open 12 pm – 4 pm

Updated hours for the remainder of the season are listed below. All times are subject to staffing availability, which becomes very challenging this time of year when college students return to campuses and even more so as high school students return to classrooms and school year obligations.
