FAQ- Membership Renewal

Below are some frequently asked questions about membership renewal:

Why is my account Suspended?

If you pay by check, your account will show “suspended” until your check is received.  This is a default term from our software provider.  It is really “pending payment”  Sorry for the confusion.

Where do I send my check?

  • make payable to “Overlee Community Association”
  • mail to PO Box 5346, Arlington, VA 22205
  • write Member Name on check
  • (Your email confirmation has the details as well)

Why is there a fee for using a credit card?

Overlee is charged for credit card transactions, so to be fair to all members, we pass that fee along to members who choose this option.  We will review the fees at the end of each season and welcome member feedback about the practice.

What are the rules about Gold Cards?

Gold Cards are now being offered to members with 15 years as Overlee Members.  (previously 20 years was required.)  Information about this option can be found on Plans & Cards section.  If you are eligible, you should have received an email.

Can I buy Extended Season Pass later?

YES!  If you’re not sure if or how many Extended Season passes you want, no worries.  You can purchase one later by emailing [email protected]

How do I select who gets Extended Season Pass?

Just email [email protected] with the name and we’ll assign the pass to their membership card.  You’ll receive an email confirming the assignment.

The email said there is a “sign-up form” online, but I can’t find it?

There is not a specific “form” on the online Account, you select your membership from the drop down menus and click the “sign-up” button for the membership you want.

My Account Balance shows $0?

On the home screen on the left you’ll see “Account Balance: $0”  This has nothing to do with your Membership Renewal (it will be used later for scheduling classes, reserving locations, and buying guest passes)  Sorry for the confusion.
