Synchro Team Fundraiser with Rocklands BBQ on Friday, June 14, 2024

Celebrate the end of school with a Rocklands BBQ dinner delivered to Overlee!

Come support our synchro team and spread the word!

The Rocklands BBQ food truck will be at Overlee on Friday, June 14 from 4 – 7 PM (or earlier if they sell out). Preordering is highly encouraged. Order online at https://rocklands-bbq.square.site/ before 12 PM on June 13. Contact carmen@rocklands.com for any issues with ordering. The food truck is cashless.

Manager’s Top 5 Rules:

1.  Foul language & abusive behavior is never tolerated.
2.  Obey the rules on our basketball hoops – No dunking, no shooting from outside deck, and no rough housing.
3.  Please throw away your trash and keep your area clean.
4.  If there is a mess on the deck or in a bathroom, please let a manager know.
5.  Staff does not make policy or hours of operation. If you have an issue that a manager cannot satisfy, please email president@overlee.org.

Summer Group Lessons Registration Now Open: The Summer Group Lessons program will have six weeks of lessons held Tuesday-Thursday organized by level and age. Click here to register and for more information.

Synchro Registration Open:  The Synchro Season kicked off this past Wed., 5/29 with a team potluck dinner, parent meeting and first practice. Please spread the word that a few spots remain open on the team. Registrations accepted until team is full or thru June 5th. Click here to register or for more information.

Board Seeking Nominees for New Directors: Under Overlee’s current Bylaws, the election of new members of the Board of Directors is held during the Summer Membership Meeting.  This year, the meeting will be on Thursday, July 18, 2024 at 7:00pm. We are seeking Association members who are interested in serving on the Board. Board members act as the governing body for the Association. A description of the Board’s roles and responsibilities can be found on the website in our Bylaws. If you are interested in running or finding out more information, please send an email to Board@overlee.org.

Free Adult Swim Clinics Begin on Friday, June 7th: All adult Overlee members are welcome to join the Adult Swim Clinics on Friday evenings beginning June 7th from 7:30pm – 8:30pm in the Lap Pool. All levels and abilities are welcome, including those who’ve never had a formal swim lesson, those who want to improve a stroke or two, as well as those who are competitive swimmers or triathletes. Our seasoned instructor, Kathy Koczyk, has tips and techniques that will help build your confidence in the water. These clinics are held every Friday in June, July and August.  No registration is required.

All Other Pools will open 15 minutes after the conclusion of the meet (expected opening 12noon) 

All Pools Close 9:00 PM

Sunday, June 9 

Synchro (Lap Pool or Dive Well): 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM 

All Pools: 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM 

Lap Pool: 8:00 PM – 9:00 PM
