Team Updates: August 5th – 12th, 2017
Swim: Overlee Winter Swim – It’s never too early to start getting ready for next summer! Registration for Overlee Sunday Night swim opens in mid-August and can be accessed through the Active Registration System.
Year Round Swim Programs – If you are interested in keeping your Flying Fish in the water even more this winter, there are a number of great programs in the area. Some of the larger ones include: AAC, Clark, Fish, Machine, and York. Please contact them directly for more information about their programs.

Synchro: A big thanks to everyone who came out to support the 2017 Synchro Swim this season! Although Mother Nature derailed the originally scheduled event, the girls rallied and put on a spectacular, fun-filled show Monday night to a huge crowd. The program is really growing and participation has nearly doubled in the last 2 years with many of our swimmers competing year round. We’re already looking forward to 2018!
Dive: Congratulations to the Overlee Divisional divers! They were quite impressive at last Sunday’s Division 1 meet!
- Izzy Eisenberg placed 7th for Freshman girls
- Georgi Malko placed 9th for Freshman girls
- Nate Cohen placed 13th for Freshman boys
- Olivia Morgan and Harry Burmeister placed an impressive 1st place in Junior girls and boys
- Avery Stoker placed 12th for Junior girls
- Matthew Kress placed 5th for intermediate boys
- And our senior girls were awesome with Hannah Karlin placing 1st, Annika Creedon placing 3rd, and Laine Stoker placing 4th.
