Swim:  Congratulations to the OVL Swim Team on winning the Division 1 Relay Carnival at Overlee on Wednesday night. Next up is our Saturday meet (7/15) at Tuckahoe followed by All Star Relays at Greenbriar Pool on Wednesday (7/19).

  • Girls 13-14 200 Free Relay (K. Bailey, A. Lee, E. Ridgeway, A. Bruce)

And congratulations to our NVSL record breakers:

  • Boys 15-18 200m Medley Relay (Overlee & Pool & NVSL) (N. Pasternak, P. Kinsella, J. Day, S. Ellison)

Synchro:  We are selling popcorn and sno-cones during Movie Night this Sunday, July 16th.
Schedule for the week:
Sunday, July 16th – practice cancelled (stay tuned for make-up day announcement)
Wednesday, July 19th – 7:30PM – 9:00PM
Save the date!  The Synchro “Circus Splash” Show will be on Thursday, July 27th at 9:00PM.
Dive:  In the third meet of the season, Overlee Diving enjoyed its second win defeating Dunn Loring.
Top scoring divers were:

  • Freshman Girls- Paige Baskin 1st place, Sophie Deegan 2nd place
  • Junior Girls- Michayla Eisenberg 1st place, Olivia Morgan 3rd place
  • Intermediate Girls- Avery Stoker 1st place
  • Senior Girls- SWEEP!  Hannah Karlin 1st place, Annika Creedon 2nd place, Laine Stoker 3rd place (tie)
  • Freshman Boys- Nate Cohen 2nd place
  • Junior Boys- SWEEP!  Chris Cobey 1st place, Flynn Shoji 2nd place, Peter Kress 3rd place
  • Intermediate Boys- Matthew Kress 2nd place

The final score was Overlee 42.5 – Dunn Loring 29.5.
Kudos go out to Michayla Eisenberg, Avery Stoker, and Chris Cobey for diving up an age group (and winning their events!).
Special thanks to our supportive parents and reps who judged, worked the scoring table, and cheered us on!
