Team Updates: July 29th – August 7th
Shout Out to the Team Reps: Overlee is fortunate to have terrific coaches, kids, parents and volunteers. But, our teams would not work so well without the endless hours of support and time from team reps. So, a very special thanks to Kristin Bruce and Gina Hartel (Swim Team Reps), Tammy Stoker (Dive Team Rep) and Pam Houze (Synchro Rep) for all you have done to make this season great!
Swim: Thanks to everyone who came out last Saturday to cheer the team in our last meet of the season against Chesterbrook. Individual Divisionals are this Saturday at Tuckahoe starting at 8:30 am. Swim Team Awards Night is this Sunday at 6:00 pm. Starting with desserts and time for swimmers to check in with Gina and/or Kristin from 6:00 – 7:00 pm, Awards Ceremony from 7:15 – 8:45 pm, and the slide show from 9 – 10:00 pm. Many thanks to Coach Beth Baker for a fabulous 13 years of coaching at Overlee!
Dive: The Dive Team became the Division 2 Champions after their win against Lee Graham on Tuesday night! The team is undefeated in Division 2. The Division 2 Individual Divisional Championship Meet will be held at Overlee this Sunday. We will have a full service snack bar. Come up and cheer on your dive team! Dive Team Awards Night is this Friday, July 29th at 6:30 pm. Dive All Stars completes the Dive Season on August 7th. Good luck to all of our divers and congratulations on a really great season!
